One of the greatest festivals in West Bengal is Durga Puja. Respectful adoration is shown to the goddess Durga. During this time, beautiful lighting designs enhance all villages and cities, big or small. The five days: Sashthi, Saptami, Ashtami, Navami and Dashami are dedicated to the celebration of Durga Puja. The goddess Durga represents the idea of unity, of the victory of good over evil. She holds a weapon in every one of her arms. Lakhsmi and Saraswati, two of Durga’s daughters, are at her side on her right and left, respectively. The goddess of wealth is Lakshmi, while the goddess of knowledge is Saraswati. Kartik and Ganesh are her two sons. Goddess Durga is a symbol of unity, or “shakti,” which triumphs against the presence of evil.
The goddess Durga is brought and worshipped, several pandals are constructed in various locations, communities and the pandals are perfectly decorated with a variety of lights. Numerous individuals spend the entire night “pandal hopping” and having a good time. Throughout the night, vendors sell food, feasts are open and ready to serve visitors. Together, the young, old, men, women, and children celebrate this holiday with amazing joy. For the occasion’s elegance, they don brand-new attire. The festive mood are satisfied by the city decorations at this time.

Durga Puja has started and one can almost smell the Kashful in the meadows, which signals the arrival of goddess Durga to the plains from her heavenly abode in Kailash. Another scent synonymous with Durga Puja holidays is of mouth-watering traditional Bengali cuisines. We share five such cuisines that are a must-try during this festive season.
Cultural event 2022
Durga puja unites our cultural and emotional souls together. To celebrate our festival we arranged Solo singing performances, Dance, Poetry recitation and so on. On Sasthi evening, you can enjoy the Bangla Band Folkyr perform Live at our venue.
